In 2000, Andrew rode for Sheffield at both Premier and Conference League levels, and again in 2001, where he averaged 4.81 in the Premier League. He remained with the Tigers until then end of 2004, improving his average yearly unril he reached 7.68 at the end of that season. In 2004, Andrew was also named as named joint reserve at Swindon in the Elite League but was released due to fixture clashes with Sheffield. He then doubled up with Eastbourne Eagles, recording an average of 4.52 from fourteen meetings. Unfortunately a broken leg ended his season in August.
In 2005 Andrew joined Eagles full time and recorded a 4.78 average from thirty six matches. He was retained by the Eagles in 2006 but was forced to retire from the sport due to financial difficulties. Andrew returned to speedway with the Swindon Robins in 2007, finishing the season with a four point average from thirty five meetings.
The Scorpions are pleased to capture another experienced local rider for 2008 and are sure Andrew can spearhead the campaign.
