A find from David Howe's first training school. He attended in November 2010 and continued to practice when the track was fit again in February 2011.

It was obvious that the young grasstrack star had talent and this was confirmed in a major way when he finished second to Peter Juul Larsen in the amateur meeting at the end of the month.

The club management team were all impressed with Oliver's ability and Saints Team Manager Stuart Parnaby was quick to offer him the No. 8 berth.

He made the most of the opportunites presented to him, and averaged a highly creditable 5.00 from his three appearances for the Saints. His reward is a much-deserved full-time place with the 2012 Saints.
