SCUNTHORPE are Viktor's only British club and he has been with the Scorpions since 2008 when club owner Rob Godfrey took the team into the Premier League for the first time.

The 24-year-old Swede has bags of promise but has had terrible luck with injuries, which have stunted his progress at the Eddie Wright Raceway. In 2009, his year ended early when he broke a wrist in August and last year, a crash at Stoke left him on the sidelines with severe burns and threatened to de-rail his British career.

The tenacious Viktor again fought his way back, however, and some excellent late season displays convinced the Scunthorpe management to keep him on for a fourth season in Scorpions colours in 2011.
