2008 is Viktor’s first season in British speedway but he has plenty of experience in the Swedish leagues and rode in both of their top two divisions last season. In the Eliteserien he rode at reserve for Våstervik and the team finished second in the league. His team mates included Bjarne Pedersen, Tomasz Gollob and Chris Harris and he recorded a 5.45 average. In the Allsvenskan league he rode for Vargarna and averaged 7.25 in a league that compares favourably with the Premier League. His team-mates included Joe Screen, Craig Watson, Leigh Lanham and Kevin Doolan.

Viktor also gained experience with Rawicz in Poland, winning the Polish second division, and qualified for his fourth Swedish U-21 Final, finishing 10th. He was also placed 10th in the Nordic final and in his last meeting of the season he claimed 3rd place in the high quality ‘Robins’ individual meeting.
