2008 was Viktor’s first season in British speedway but he has plenty of experience in the Swedish leagues and rode in both of their top two divisions in 2007. In the Eliteserien he rode at reserve for Våstervik and the team finished second in the league. His team mates included Bjarne Pedersen, Tomasz Gollob and Chris Harris and he recorded a 5.45 average. In the Allsvenskan league he rode for Vargarna and averaged 7.25 in a league that compares favourably with the Premier League. His team-mates included Joe Screen, Craig Watson, Leigh Lanham and Kevin Doolan.

Viktor performed well in his first season with the Scorpions and became very popular with fans. However, he had a mid-season spell in 2009 when he struggled with injuries and confidence. Thankfully, August saw a significant upturn in form after being paired with David Howe at the top of the order but just when he was finding his best form his season ended early after a collision with Tomas Topinka on 31st August. He broke his wrist but is fit to start the 2010 season and will start the season in the number two race jacket alongside David Howe once again.
