06.02.08: Additional Practice Session |

| The club have decided to put on an additional practice this Saturday afternoon (9th February). The session runs from 1pm - 5pm and signing-on is from 12pm. The cost is the usual £35 and anyone who also rides in the Sunday afternoon practice session will get the second session for £20. The weather forecast is good for the weekend but if anyone wants up-to-date weather conditions or has any questions they can call Richard Hollingsworth on 07832-402167 or e-mail him on richard@scunthorpespeedway.com |

14.03.08: Summer Practice Sessions |

| There will be a open practice session on Sunday 13th April. It will run from 1-5pm with the usual facilities. The cost is £35 and no advance booking is necessary. If the session is well supported we will look to run further open practices during the season as time allows. Of course we are committed to running eight amateur meetings between April and October (see separate section), the first of which is on 12th April. Any rider who rides on the 12th and the 13th will get the Sunday practice for just £20. |

16.04.08: New practice date - Sunday 25th May 2-6pm |

| Despite the rain doing its best to spoil Sunday's session we were suitably encouraged to book another session. The next date booked is Sunday 25th May. The session will be 2-6pm as usual and there will be no need to book. Grass track, Short Track, Sand racing and speedway bikes are very welcome. If anyone has any questions or would like to make a private booking of the track please call Richard Hollingsworth on 07832-402167. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE MOVED THIS SESSION BACK AN HOUR TO 2-6PM DUE TO THE AVAILABILITY OF MEDICAL COVER |

| Six more dates have been set for practices during the season. The full list of dates are: 21st June, 20th July, 31st August, 14th September, 12th October & 26th October All dates are provisional and subject to change due to Scorpions/Saints meetings. However, if at all possible we will stick to these and they will run from 1pm to 5pm. Grass track, Short Track, Sand racing and speedway bikes are very welcome. A spares van is always present and we hope to have the cafe open for all sessions. |

10.09.08: Practice sessions and mini-track sessions |

| This Sunday sees the latest in our 'summer' practice sessions. It runs from 1-5pm and no bookings are necessary. Signing on is from 12pm and day licences are free. After Sunday there are open practices on 12th & 26th October before we start with our weekly 'winter' sessions from 9th November. On Saturday Wayne Carter is running one of his mini-track sessions. They run every second Saturday with the pre-Christmas dates 13th and 27th Sep, 11th and 25th Oct, 8th and 22nd Nov plus 6th Dec. |
