27.01.07: Sunday Practice OFF but two next week |

| Sorry to have to say but despite two days work from our excellent track staff we will not be able to run a practice tomorrow. For once we had a still day and we just couldn't get the track to dry out. However, we are planning to run both Saturday and Sunday next week and anyone attending both can have the Sunday for the price of £15. The sessions will be Saturday 12-4pm and Sunday 1-5pm. |  |

01.02.07: Scunthorpe commit to rider development |

| In a sport where riders can struggle to get the necessary track time Scunthorpe Speedway are continuing to underline their commitment to the development of British speedway riders by running, for the first time, two practice sessions in one weekend (3rd and 4th February) at the Scunthorpe Raceway. The track already runs more off-season practice sessions than most, Sittingbourne being the only real challenger, and with demand high at this time of year it was felt a second session over a weekend might prove popular. | |

09.02.07: Practice rained off |

| Unfortunately the weather forecast hasn't changed overnight and the BBC rainfall radar suggests it will rain all day. Sadly this means we have had to cancel this afternoon's practice session. The next session is Saturday 17th February 12-4pm. Signing-on is from 11am. Riders of all abilities are welcome with free day licences available on the day. |

17.08.07: Mini track open for all |

| Scunthorpe Speedway's Mini-track will open to paying customers from Saturday 25th August. Sessions which will run from 12pm-4pm on Saturday afternoons will give fans and prospective riders an opportunity to try the sport without having to buy a bike and all the equipment. The sessions, which will be run by Wayne Carter, will include the use of the club's bikes and all the protective equipment. The cost will be £60 for the four-hour session whilst those with their own bikes/equipment can ride for £25. Session numbers will be limted and can be booked by calling the speedway office on 01724-848899. |
