| Sadly we have had to cancel today's practice session. There has been lots of rain overnight and the forecast is for it to continue throughout the day. The next practice session will now be next Sunday (6th December). |  |

14.11.09: Sunday 15th Nov is definitely 'ON' but minitrack not running |

| Sunday's practice session on the main track is most definitely on. The track is in great condition after the rain and with an excellent forecast it is all systems go. However, the drainage on the mini-track isn't as good and the session on that track has had to be cancelled. Anyone who wants to double-check on Sunday is more than welcome to call Richard Hollingsworth on 07832-402167. The practice is open to everyone at a price of £35 with riders under-15 at £25. The session runs from 1pm to 5pm with signing-on from 12pm. Sunday sessions run on 15th, 22nd and 29th November plus 6th and 13th December prior to Christmas. The mini-track isn't available for riders on 22nd and 29th due to bookings. There are a couple of places in the Wayne Carter Mini-track session on 21st November. 04.10.09: Practice cancelled due to Autograss meeting |

| Unfortunately the practice session set for Saturday 31st October has had to be cancelled due to an autograss meeting at the Eddie Wright Raceway. The next practice is next Sunday (11th October, 1pm) whilst sessions will go weekly during the winter from Sunday 15th November. | |

| Scunthorpe Speedway is committed to the development of British speedway riders and with two tracks, plus 24/7 planning permission, we feel the Eddie Wright Raceway is the ideal place for riders to learn. In the long term we would love to have some form of academy based at the track but for the time being we are simply keen to see the two tracks in use as much as possible. | |

12.02.09: 15th Feb Practice OFF |

| With so many riders wanting to get some track time before the new season it is with deep regret that the weather has once again put paid to this Sunday's practice (15th February). However, with frosts looking set to stop at the weekend, we are very hopeful of running both the amateur meetings (Sat 21st) and practice (Sun 22nd) the following weekend. Both days are set to run from 1-5pm and whilst bookings aren't necessary anyone is welcome to call Richard Hollingsworth on 07832-402167 for further information. |
