| A friend and rival from three branches of motorcycle sport, Eastbourne captain Cameron Woodward is pleased to be added to the field for the David Howe Testimonial at Scunthorpe on Sunday March 24th. In fact Cameron explained that it was through non-speedway events that he became more friendly with the Scunthorpe star. “I’ve raced against David for a fair few years but I hadn’t really known him till I started doing grasstrack and longtrack. Since then we’ve doubled up a few times." |

27.02.13: Sky's the limit for Scorpions |

| THE SKY SPORTS television cameras are set to come to the Eddie Wright Raceway on Tuesday, April 30th to film the reigning Premier League Champions, Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions, as they entertain Workington Comets. The Scorpions v Comets Premier League fixture has been moved back four days from its original date of Friday, April 26th to accommodate the Sky cameras. |

27.02.13: Press & practice moved to March 15th |

| THE Press & Practice for the Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions at the Eddie Wright Raceway has been moved forward by one day to Friday, March 15th. The evening will kick off with the press photos due to take place at 5.30pm. The Scorpions will take to the track at around 6pm. The Ten Pin Bowling remains on Saturday, March 16th. It is due to start at 6.45pm at First Bowl in Warren Road, Scunthorpe, and gives fans a chance to mix with the riders. |
