| Bookings are being taken for the seventh of our amateur meetings. It is also the third round of our eight round Summer Championship but the places are available on a first come, first served basis. | With the Henderson Insurance Scorpions having moved their regular race-day to Friday nights the Eddie Wright Raceway put Sunday afternoon to good use with a 33-rider amateur meeting that constituted the second round of the club’s eight round Summer Championship. In the Open class Mike Pickering was flawless, winning all his six rides, to head home first round winner Stuart Parnaby, John MacPhail and Jitendra Duffill. | |
